Position Overview:

SUMOFIBER is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Account Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping businesses enhance their connectivity, communication and operational efficiency through our advanced telecommunications and managed technology solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for a consultative sales professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships, identifying customer needs, and delivering customized business solutions. You will be responsible for developing new commercial relationships, managing existing accounts, and representing our full portfolio of fiber internet, voice, managed network services throughout your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and engage small-to-medium businesses, mid-market, and enterprise accounts within your service area.

  • Develop strong relationships with business owners, executives, and key decision-makers.

  • Conduct discovery meetings to assess customer communication, connectivity, and technology needs.

  • Recommend customized telecommunications and managed service solutions designed to improve productivity, security, and operational performance.

  • Prepare proposals, pricing, presentations, and product demonstrations as needed.

  • Negotiate agreements and complete all required sales documentation accurately and efficiently.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with customers through regular communication and account reviews.

  • Inform clients about new products, service enhancements, upgrades, and emerging technology solutions.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and evolving telecommunications technologies.'

  • Participate in networking opportunities, local business organizations, community events, and industry functions.

  • Strategically identify future growth opportunities within existing customer accounts.

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales goals and performance expectations.

  • Generate and manage a consistent sales pipeline while maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasting, and sales activity tracking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience preferred.

  • Experience in telecommunications, ISP, SAS technology, or managed services sales is a plus.

  • Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Experience selling recurring revenue solutions preferred.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to manage territory travel and customer meetings.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
