Position Summary
Sign on bonus available: Bachelor eligible candidates $8,000 and Master eligible candidates $10,000
The Therapies Access Team Leader supports monitoring daily referral activity and oversees a professional team of dedicated Access Specialists and Counselors responsible for servicing client interactions (e.g., telephone, email, etc.) utilizing a well-rounded and diverse level of behavioral health expertise and a strong history of direct support or leadership roles related to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or other related field, or equivalent experience and training
- Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC) or licensed in Illinois as an LSW or LPC, which supersedes the CADC within 2 years of employment in substance use disorder services.
- Must qualify as a MHP or higher per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132
- Demonstrated clinical competency in assessments and admissions.
- Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in operating various software applications and navigating digital platforms effectively
- Sound judgement to assess situations, determine the severity of crises, and take appropriate action, including referral to emergency services
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly, thoroughly, and professionally
- Proficient skills with CRM and EHR software, Microsoft Office Suite required
- Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record
- Knowledge of accepted assessment techniques
- Knowledge of DSM diagnoses and appropriate criteria for each diagnosis.
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Work scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership. Some variation in scheduled hours may be required to meet company needs, including an on-call rotation.
- Oversee the daily operations of access services to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessment and medically necessary service needs of clients through admissions.
- Develop, mentor, coach, and supervise a team of Access Specialists and Counselors, providing orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.
- Provide daily direction, guidance, and communication to frontline team members to respond to clients and referral sources in a timely, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.
- Serve as a first tier of escalation to Access Specialists and Counselors by identifying, researching, and assisting team members to resolve customer/patient issues and ensure the highest level of service.
- Conduct clinical review of services performed by Access Specialists and Counselors.
- Maintain and protect client confidentiality in accordance with all relevant regulations; maintain confidentiality related to information being processed, stored, or accessed
- Serve as a member of the team and participate in all team meetings, duties, and activities as assigned.
- Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
- Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and expectations of Rosecrance.
- Serve as a role model to others and demonstrate excellent company stewardship.

- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Compensation & Rewards (pay is based on education, experience, and credentials)
- Starting Pay: $57,615.82year
