The short version: GRCC is looking for a relationship-driven sales leader to grow our membership and lead the team that keeps members engaged, supported, and glad they invested. Every membership you bring in is another Rockford Region business getting the connections, visibility, and resources it needs to grow. What you'll do

Own GRCC's revenue growth by building sales systems and strategies that actually scale.

Lead, coach, and motivate the sales and service team, plus our Ambassador volunteers, toward shared goals.

Translate the value of membership into messaging that lands, across memberships, sponsorships, advertising, and events.

Build genuine relationships with members and resolve issues before they become problems.

Partner across departments to design member packages, shape pricing, and make sure every promised benefit gets delivered.

Put our CRM (GrowthZone) to work: clean data, a healthy sales funnel, and reporting that turns numbers into next moves.

Show up where business happens, at GRCC events, community functions, and on social media, as a visible face of the organization.
What you bring

Three to five years of strategic, consultative selling: prospecting, funnel management, negotiation, closing, and relationship building.

A bachelor's degree in business, economic development, public administration, or a related field.

Comfort with CRM tools (GrowthZone a plus) and the discipline to keep data accurate.

Strong executive presence and communication skills, whether one-on-one or in front of a room.

A servant-leadership mindset and a real drive to help local business succeed.

Your CCE or IOM credential through ACCE, or the willingness to work toward it.

Full-time, exempt, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer

Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000 base salary, plus commission

Benefits: health, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance; 401(k) with company match; and a generous holiday and PTO schedule

Regular travel (25 to 50 percent), mostly local to events and member sites
