Key Responsibilities
Develop enterprise architecture frameworks and technology standards for
infrastructure and security domains
Create reference architectures for cloud (Azure, AWS), hybrid, and on-
premises environments
Lead architecture review board and provide governance for significant
technology decisions
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations
(build vs. buy analysis)
Design IT/OT architecture patterns for manufacturing and industrial
environments
Establish cloud strategy including multi-cloud governance, workload
placement, and cost optimization
Review and approve MSP solution designs ensuring alignment with enterprise
standards

Define technical debt management strategy and modernization roadmap
Create architecture documentation including diagrams, decision records, and
standards catalogs
Mentor technical staff on architecture principles and best practices
Support M&A activities with technology due diligence and integration
architecture
Align technology architecture with business capabilities and strategic
objectives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years in enterprise
architecture roles
Demonstrated experience developing enterprise architecture for organizations
of 5,000+ users
Deep expertise in cloud architecture (Azure and/or AWS) with hands-on
design experience
Strong infrastructure architecture knowledge (compute, storage, network,
virtualization)
Experience with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar)
Excellent communication skills for presenting to executive and board
audiences
Strong vendor management and technology evaluation capabilities
Experience in regulated industries with compliance architecture requirements
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in technology or business administration
TOGAF 9.x certification
Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional
Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience
Experience with IT/OT convergence and industrial architecture
Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture implementation

enterprise networking • Storage architecture (SAN, NAS, object storage) • Identity
architecture (Entra ID, AD) • Security architecture patterns • Veeam / enterprise
backup architecture • Architecture modeling tools (Visio, LucidChart, ArchiMate)
Key Performance Indicators
Architecture standards documentation (target: complete framework in 6
months)
Architecture review board effectiveness (target: 100% major projects
reviewed)
Technical debt reduction (target: 20% reduction in legacy systems YoY)
Cloud cost optimization (target: 15% efficiency improvement)
Stakeholder satisfaction (target: >4.0/5.0)
