Expected pay for this position is $53.71 - $71.16/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Oncology Services plans and directs the short-term and long-term development and operation of the hematology oncology and radiation oncology services. Responsible for the division performance through identification of and response to market conditions, accrediting and regulatory requirements. Effectively managing the capital, financial and human resources of the division, and developing and implementing appropriate plans, goals, budgets, and policies. Plans and directs the delivery of quality patient care and related oncology services and associated research.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Nursing or Healthcare-related field
License/Certifications:
- Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
Experience:
- Knowledge in a health care related field leadership role in order to plan and direct patient care services in assigned units, and to prepare related reports, analyses, policies and budgets.
- Five years in a health care leadership role.
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid Computer Skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Master's in Nursing Administration, Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent degree.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Oncology and/or leadership certification RN-Registered Nurse
Experience:
- Ambulatory and/or Oncology experience Membership in a professional organization
