Pay range for this position is $39.34 - $52.16/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.


Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Radiation Oncology Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy. This role supports patients and families throughout the cancer care continuum, coordinates with the multidisciplinary team, ensures safe delivery of treatment, and promotes patient education and advocacy.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate degree in nursing

Experience: 1 year of RN experience or completion of an RN Residency program. Licensure/ Certification: Current ONCC® Radiation Therapy Certificate or obtained within 3 years of hire. Current IL or MI state Nursing License

Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Experience: 1 year or more of Oncology nursing in an outpatient setting
