ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Uses exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to serve as the project manager for coordination of programs
Oversees and coordinates the application process for program
Collaborates with the Nursing Practice Council and Nursing Leadership to ensure the coordination, and facilitation for an action plan the brings this vision to reality
Supports departments in various Performance Improvement activities while working closely with the Department of Quality
Develops a communication plan which keeps nurses across the system informed and linked together
Develops a plan to educate Mercyhealth partners with components of the program environment and champions strategies
Leads and supports all survey readiness activities before, during and after a survey period
Other duties as assigned based on department need
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required, or
RN Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, with active enrollment in an accredited BSN program
Must have a minimum of 5 years hospital experience or experience related to the program
Demonstrated success with Project Management
Experience with interpretation and display of data
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Minimum Required:
Active nursing license in each state of practice

General Supervision: The supervisor provides general guidelines, priorities, and deadlines, but the employee is expected to use initiative to complete recurring tasks independently. Specific instructions are given only for new or unusual situations.
PAY RANGE:
