ZINC 4 OPERATOR (11072)

Job Summary

Operate the Zinc 4 line efficiently and produce product within customer specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Review work orders from supervisor for start of shift
• Visually inspect line and barrels for signs of wear and tear of low volume
• Starts up and shuts down Zinc line properly and in sequence.
• Select proper Zinc program based on customer specifications '
• Determine weight loads for each barrel based on part size and overall customer order using calculator for basic multiplication and division functions
• Ensure machines are loaded and operating properly
• After program runs, inspect parts using X-Ray technology to ensure proper zinc coating
• Operate Forklift

The employer may require an employee to perform other duties as assigned on a temporary and infrequent basis.

Education and Experiences

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or up to one month of related experience
• Speak, read, and write English preferred
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide to calculate correct weight for each load.
• Fork lift license
• High attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to create and maintain cooperative, team building relationships.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
