Responsibilities - Assist in programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure accurate measurement of manufactured parts.
- Learn to use calipers and other precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
- Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to measurement programs.
- Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings to develop measurement plans.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support inspection processes.
- Maintain and organize measurement data and documentation.
- Continuously develop mechanical aptitude and technical skills related to CMM programming and inspection.
Qualifications - Basic understanding of CMM programming or a strong willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of GD&T concepts or eagerness to gain proficiency.
