Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our team in Roscoe, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC mills, with a strong background in CNC milling processes, particularly in the production of precision gears for the aerospace industry. Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards is essential to ensure compliance and maintain the highest level of product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision parts, including gears, according to engineering specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
• Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet aerospace industry standards and AS9100 requirements.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary to optimize production efficiency and part quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC milling techniques and gear manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality management standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality precision parts.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with aerospace component manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
