We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team in Roscoe, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the aerospace industry and be familiar with AS9100 standards. This role involves operating CNC lathes to turn blanks into precision components that meet strict quality and dimensional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to produce aerospace components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Turn blanks into finished parts with precision and attention to detail.
• Perform quality inspections and measurements to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company and industry safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience turning blanks into precision parts with tight tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
