POSITION SUMMARY:
The Site Manager is a Certified Medical Assistant who manages the patient care teams under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations. The Site Manager monitors medical support staff to ensure optimal patient care, patient care team coverage and assignment completion. The Site Manager participates in a team approach to patient care by attending and contributing in regular team meetings and education sessions. This is an on-site direct service position within Crusader Community Health (CCH).
Education:
- Graduate of an approved program for Medical Assisting
- Passed certification exam through AAMA, NHA, and/or AMT
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association
Experience:
- 3+ years previous experience in ambulatory care, hospital, or public health required
- Strong adult-health, medical/surgical, pediatric, and/or women’s health experience preferred
- Experience utilizing an electronic medical record required
- One-two years of management and leadership experience in direct patient care is strongly preferred
