What You Will Do
- Support systems engineering activities for a Thrust Vector Actuation (TVA) system.
- Assist with requirements verification including test method definition, traceability, and evidence collection.
- Develop and maintain compliance matrices aligned to system requirements and contract deliverables.
- Support creation and processing of data item submittals (DIDs), reviewing content for accuracy, completeness, and alignment to program standards.
- Contribute to validation and verification documentation, including test plans, procedures, and verification reports.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional integrated project team (IPT).
- Help prepare for qualification testing by coordinating requirement reviews, configuration tracking, and verification artifacts.
What You Will Learn
- Exposure to aerospace systems engineering processes and lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with requirements decomposition, tracing, and verification techniques.
- Understanding of formal qualification planning and compliance documentation practices.
- Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines within an integrated project team.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Foundational understanding of systems engineering principles such as requirements flow, quality control, validation, and verification
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Prior internship, co-op, or work experience

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
